As many of you probably know my father Mark Marderosian as we are pretty much life long West Newton residents, I encourage you to rally around him in regards to him no longer doing the cartoons for the Newton tab due to the editor refusing to run the above cartoon citing the reason as it being “sexist” despite the former male Mayor often being portrayed with no concern. 

Whether you agreed with his cartoons or not, the purpose of an opinion section of the Tab is to share different ideas that may not necessarily be your own. If you know my father personally, you will understand how outrageous and frankly insulting this is.
