Newry Needs a Central Park!

Newry Needs a Central Park!

The people of Newry own The Albert Basin, an unrealised gem near the city centre. It is a great location, between two waterways, at the head of Carlingford Lough, with stunning views. The Albert Basin Park Project seeks to develop this magnificent site into a much needed 15 acre green public space for the people of Newry.
THE ALBERT BASIN PARK PROJECT'S VISION
■ To Prevent The Albert Dock/Middlebank area being sold off and save the area for the long-term benefit of all the people of the Newry area.
