2 weeks ago a Telephone Mast was erected directly across from a residential housing estate in Bavan Grove, Newry, Co. Down Northern Ireland.

This Mast is directly overlooking our estate which is home to over 25 families which almost all have children. 

The residents were not informed nor asked about this mast. Instead we woke up to see this monstrosity of metal overlooking our estate.

We were not given an option to voice our concerns or to object to this eyesore overlooking our estate. Nothing. Not a letter a telephone call and email NOTHING!!! 

We as human beings with rights and as parents to our children have a right to vent our fury and anger at such a mast being erected without our knowledge. According to planning we were to be informed but WE WERE NOT!!

We we are requesting that this mast be immediately taken down. Our children’s lives, our lives & the future of the people of Mayobridge depend on it. 

Everybody within a 5 mile radius is at risk. 

We need to get this mast down ASAP!! Please help us & help save our children.
