Newgrounds v. Geometry Dash

Newgrounds v. Geometry Dash
The Issue
Throughout this petition I will be using the abbreviation GD for Geometry Dash and NG for Newgrounds. I hope this clears any confusion while reading. Before I begin I would also like to state that this petition is in no way meant to inflict hate and tension upon either side through my own opinions on the matter. Not all of the blame is directed towards Newgrounds or Geometry Dash.
I'm sure that most players of GD and users of NG are aware of the recent actions in taking Geometry Dash off of the Steam market due to the continuous violation of the Newgrounds copyright infringement rules.
For those who don't know, Geometry Dash is a rhythm-based action platformer game on both Steam and mobile, created by Swedish game developer Robert Topala. He has also published other games such as Boomlings and Mastery Memorymind under his company RobTopGames. He develops his games all by himself as a single developer.
In their defense, the Newgrounds moderators have to deal with removing tons of songs used in Geometry Dash that are blatant copies of the originial song. An example of this could be seen during the 2.1 sneak peek that showcases Fingerdash. If you weren't able to experience this, the community had created tons of levels to upload online to Geometry Dash with the song Fingerbang by MDK. Because the song wasn't on Newgrounds, however, many people had to upload another version of the song onto NG. Even after having the stolen content removed, more copies of the song were uploaded and used in-game.
Obviously, this could be very frustrating to see a drastic amount of monetization taken away from the original artist and etcetera. However, without Geometry Dash, many popular songs and artists on Newgrounds might not have become as popular and widespread as they are now. There have reportedly even been claims that accusations have been filed with false complaints in order for the game to shut down. If things were to stay this way, we deserve our money back, and this should be considered as illegal and false accusations.
As we near the end of this petition, I hope that we may be able to make a compromise and call off the attempt of the removal of both the mobile versions from the App Store and Google Play Store, as well as bringing back the Steam version. I already know that RobTop is coming up with a way to limit the future amount of copyrighted content used on Geometry Dash from Newgrounds. These drastic measures were in no way needed to be taken and could have easily been compensated instead. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope that you consider my ideas.
