Banks has commissioned preliminary investigations of the Dewley Hill site.

The archaeological trial trenching was a requirement of the scoping opinion, which was submitted in 2016.

It is unclear when the planning application will be submitted.

Banks' appeal against the Druridge Bay decision will be heard at High Court in London, on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th October 2018.
