Hi this video has no walk and no Toby it's a bike ride further afield. I had visited http://spaceforgosforth.com/gosforthbusinesspark/ online (I recommend it) and went out to have a look for myself at one of the reasons more cars may come through Blue House in future. It has very little to do with business development (in fact the opposite) and everything to do with poor planning and a lack of investment by developers in sustainable infrastructure. Most telling is the lack of joined up thinking across the Newcastle North Tyneside border. An estimated 200 extra car journeys per day will emanate from this development. The other point of note is that although the Haddricks Mill junction clearly needs revision the major issue of a pinch point due to the Metro is not addressed as is similarly the case at the Osborne Road/Jesmond Dene Road junction. I would argue for a pedestrian/cycle tunnel at the approach to Haddricks Mill in the video and for a pedestrian/cycle bridge at Jesmond Dene Road. Both would create more space for vehicles as well as safer space for others. Mike
