Public Consultation

Since consulting on initial proposals, Newcastle Great Park Consortium has been in close discussion with Newcastle City Council about plans to build over 1,000 houses within metres of Havannah Nature Reserve. There will be public consultations on the amended proposals on Saturday 15th October, 2pm-5pm, and Thursday 20th October, 2-7pm, in the Great Park Community Centre on Roseden Way (NE13 9BD). Please come to voice your concerns about these proposals for such a large residential development so close to one of the most ecologically valuable wildlife sites in the city.
