I would like my husband to be able to get pernanent residency

The Issue

My husband Sione Etika Mounga  46yrs and myself Jacinta Hunt 53 yrs  met nearly 4 yrs ago he is  a Tongan National and i am a kiwi ,he had a bad stroke in 2010 which had left him unable to earn a living  às before  . He was homeless and an overstayer , and slept on the floor at a kind persons house.he can only walk ten steps normally then he needs help and he cant use his right hand.

His friend has offered him a job but he has not got a work visa at the moment ,he has an interim visa so my wife can pack her things to go and live in Tonga with me.

Because of the corona virus i can stay in nz until october I do not want to be deported to Tonga they do not have the same medical care as New Zealand and my wife and i have no income over there.she also has depression .

Sione has made many friends in the community . He waves to them and says hello we he drives around on his mobility scooter. He encourages other disabled people to cope with there disability as he has a super positive atitude. And he supports the local stroke club.

He has disadvantaged people over for meals or a coffee and shows great hospitality. He also shows a kind atitude to all homeless people . He loves gardening he enjoys growing veges and sharing them with his nieghbors ,taro leaves tomatoes, spring onions ,kumara.my husband and I love each other and we are committed to each other for life we are a stable happy couple .

If you care about us as a couple please sign this petition we just need 100 signatures . Then we can get permanent residency or even a work visa for my husband and then we can stay together as a couple who love each other in New Zealand then he can keep on giving back to his Hamilton community .
