Revise the flawed and unfair New Zealand MIQ allocation system

The issue

The New Zealand Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) program has been found to be incapable of allowing Kiwis around the world to exercise their right to return home.

MIQ appears to benefit only those who have access to coding scripts to do their bidding for them. Available dates disappear in seconds. It is currently impossible to secure a date without the assistance of the partially automated system.

Desperate Kiwis whose condition do not fall under the Emergency Allocation categories are left with little to no option. Either monitor the MIQ website 24/7 or purchase a service to provide automated booking. In both scenarios, the coding script is always the winner.

The government is fully aware of this condition, yet provides little in terms of a solution. I am appealing to all those who long to return home to sign this petition.

Let our voices be heard. The system is unfair. It doesn't have the best interests of Kiwis at heart and the government doesn't seem to care. Sign the petition to call for a thorough revision of the flawed MIQ program.

We need a reliable and a fair system in place.
