ECT may work for some but it is not 100% safe it destroyed my life when it was used on me against my will it makes it very difficult to learn skills. It also makes me forget things like my children's names at best it's a short-term fix that has to be repeated throughout your life to be effective its a barbaric and outdated procedure that needs to stop
