Yes it happened again!
Sadly, we knew it would because we do not have the subway barriers that other subway systems all over the world have.
You may not have heard of this death because, for whatever reason, it was not covered by alot of press.
It happens much more frequently than we know! The media has reported that - in just the first 8 months of 2021 - there were 50 deaths due to trains! The MTA MUST act and our elected officials must hear us!
Please look for my Monday update. I have been busy talking to Sen. Schumer, Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine ( who did a press conference urging the MTA to act), the Governor's Office, and others about YOUR OVER 32,000 signatures for subway barriers! Monday's update will have more, I promise.
Please continue to share the petition by social media again, talk to friends, neighbors, and family to sign for all our safety.
