Masking any child in learning situations is not appropriate because they need to see our facial expressions in order to learn social emotional awareness and how to communicate.  They also are rarely affected by this virus and need to breath without a mask in order to grow and fuel their bodies properly .  
The anxiety of forcing a mask on young children in classrooms is too high a stake for the caregivers/ teachers as well as the children.

It is more important to be offering stories and songs and see the smilies of the children than to mask them at this crucial learning time in their development. They are learning social skills and how our emotions work with their peers.  Please listen to your early childhood teachers and parents and grandparents. This is some thing you can stand up for. 
Also, Studies have shown headaches, shortness of breath, irritable behavior and unwillingness to go to school are associated with children wearing masks. 

We are  asking for your signature against masking children in all learning environments and especially in childcare. Parents , teachers and childcare providers must stand up for what’s right for our youngest learners. We must make the plea to legislators to reverse this mandate as it is not a law.
