Increase Regulations for Abusing Animals in NY

Increase Regulations for Abusing Animals in NY

The Issue

The greatest penalty for animal abuse in New York, which includes torture and murder, is a fine of $1000 and less than a year in prison. And anyone who has read an article on animal abuse has been disgusted to an extent at which people will disregard the rights of animals. All animals need guidance and love. The trust an animal will have towards its "owner" is unconditional. Don't let people who have caused pain and discomfort to an animal get away with murder. Because animals can't speak up for themselves, but you can. I believe all animals should be free and unharmed. They should not be trapped in cages and shown off to the world. They should be in their chosen habitat and not in a small cage. Animals should not be treated in a harmful way such as be worn as clothes. If you sign my petition, you will be helping tons of animals. Let them be put back in their homes. Let them live a harmless and free life!
