SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — As this school year winds down, families of the region’s largest school district are just learning about changes to next year’s class schedule.

Most buildings in the district will begin classes anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes earlier each day."

This is why we need a STATEWIDE FLOOR on school start times. Districts should not be able to make changes against teens' human biology. We need to protect all the teens of NY, which can only happen when we have an 8:30 or later school start time for middle and high school.
