As noted, the changes addressed with this petition are the result of a state-wide initiative. Nearly every state park is impacted in some way, mostly with shorter camping seasons. However, it is notable that Letchworth State Park is also being impacted in a way that will mostly impact people of limited means and people with disabilities. There, the loop C cabins, which are currently open year-round, will be closed for the off-season beginning in 2022, and the camping season throughout the park will be reduced significantly across the board.

However, accommodations will still be available, at a much higher rate through the Glen Iris Inn and affiliated properties year-round. These accommodations are, again, exempt from the Access Pass Program.
