THE BULL AND BEE / FUZE BOX UPDATE: We have diligently attempted to work with the New York State Liquor Authority on the Farm Meadery Branch Office Application for our liquor license at the Fuze Box via The Bull and Bee Farm Meadery License that we currently possess in good standing.

We were utilizing catering licenses for our live events to serve alcohol while waiting for approval of the Branch Office application, much like other venue(s) in Albany that had catering licenses for their events in the Summer/Fall, we were approved for a number in October of this year. Since we were getting these approvals without any issue, we have booked events all the way into February of 2022.

Recently in November the SLA has, to our great surprise, started to deny all our catering licenses for the Fuze Box, simply based on the fact that we have a pending application for a Farm Meadery Branch Office. Which, to be clear, was already known to the SLA when we had received our previous catering license approvals in October.

We want to publicly apologize to the counter cultural community, that we are a proud part of, that we will be operating as a DRY VENUE for the foreseeable future and NO ALCOHOL will be sold or consumed on the premises.

This will hurt tax revenue for New York State, along with many local businesses as we sell only NYS sourced and produced products.

We realize that the New York State government has had a very complicated year, and there are a lot of new moving parts which can understandably lead to delays. We are eager to assist the SLA in any way we can to help streamline the application process for all commerce in New York.
