Okay, as a biker from New York State, I believe with the higher influx of dirt bikes and motorcycles police officers have been chasing bikes on public roadways and some police officers are endangering themselves and the riders when some police think their tough to hit bikers who are running, if a biker gets hit while running by an officer, that biker can die if it's at a high rate of speed, I believe that New York State should have a no chase policy to protect not on the police but the bikers, we all have families we want to go home to. Let's all do our part and not run from police over a stupid traffic violation. On the cop's side of things, I have seen many police officers who have hit other motor vehicles because they are fleeing from local law enforcement agencies, I believe that New York State shouldn't chase bikers for this reason, I am not saying all police officers are bad, some officers don't know their limits and we all just want to get home safely. Other bikers can agree with me on this, a lot of officers like to harass bikers and right tickets for no reason, I believe this HAS to stop; we have to stop being targeted just because we ride on 2 wheels. If everyone agrees with me, I am hoping the outcome of this petition will not only save the lives of bikers but the police departments around New York State can go home to their families knowing they will be safe.
