Spring-loaded foothold wildlife traps are barbaric and should be banned in NYS ( and every state). These traps are inhumane.  There is no need for this type of trapping anywhere, but particularly not in highly populated suburban areas.   Foothold traps are frequently not operated legally, which would include the mandatory identification of the trapper displayed on every trap. Box traps are the proven humane method to trap wildlife. Please sign the petition to outlaw these inhumane traps.
