I am urging everyone to contact your state representatives and demand that they to allow visitation in hospitals and nursing homes. DEMAND ACTION TODAY. It is unacceptable for our elected officials to dictate the care of our loved ones. Leave the care and treatment to the doctors and nurses. There is a way to open hospitals and nursing homes to visitation safely.

It is sickening that all we read about and people get excited about is what is opening next....phase 1, 2, 3.....there is no plan for visitation in any phase set forward. This just confirms that our politicians only care about money. What if we did take to the streets and demand visitation. Would we even be heard. Would the world be so quick to empathize with our plight and force their hands. Would you have celebrities lining up demanding reform for the sick and elderly. Some of local politicians were tagged in someone’s comments....do you think any would voice their support/concern. I contacted the local news....nothing. We sit helpless, unable to advocate for our sick and elderly.

This is not just about me. This has to be about everyone who has loved ones in the hospitals, nursing homes, or any care facility. I read a post of a woman who could not visit her 99 year old mother who is currently in a nursing home. There is no reason for this. We just need to take the proper precautions when visiting.
