License plate on the front of a vehicle is not needed. some vehicles do not have spaces for a plate ie. sport cars. NYS could save a lot of money by not making the front plate. The 19 states that require only the rear license plates are Alabama,Arkansas,Arizona,Delaware,Florida,Georgia,Indiana,  Kansas,Kentucky,Louisiana,Michigan,Mississippi,New Mexico,North Carolina,Oklahoma,Pennsylvania,South Carolina,Tennessee,West Virginia.

Why does other states make it OK while our state says its illegal?
