Of the 81 players who have played for the New York Mets since the beginning of the 2015 season, 37 have spent time on the disabled list as of 8/24/2017. This is an insane 45.7% of Mets players. All of the players on the Mets players have worked with the teams head trainer Ray Ramirez on their strength and conditioning during this period. Obviously, Ramirez is teaching them things that are not working. Mets General Manager Sandy Alderson has said many time the past few years that they were "changing their methods" to try to prevent further injuries, but still, nothing has changed. In fact, many of those 37 players have gone onto the disabled list multiple times for related reasons, leading many to believe that the players are not being properly rehabilitated. If the Mets organization really has been trying different methods, then the only solution left is to let Ramirez go. The Mets clubhouse is obviously not safe, and many fans are worrying who the next player will be to go on the disabled list, and how bad his injury will be. For the safety and health of their own players, the New York Mets must terminate the employment of Ray Ramirez.
