Atmosphere Essentials, a business in the historic town of Tottenville in Staten Island, New York- is going to be shut down because of the carelessness of the NYC government and department of buildings. This business supports over 17 individuals including the family members of those who work there. The founder, Antonio Sciortino is a Venezuelan immigrant who made his life here by opening a small business where he started by producing organic skincare products using knowledge from his doctorate degree in chemistry. Although Atmosphere Essentials has been an established business for over 11 years, and the property was purchased as a commercial property, the city is trying to close it down. Because the buildings were erected in 1915, they did not need a C of O. Now after more than 20 years as a commercial business property, Atmosphere Essentials is under attack- threatening the livelihood of many good American families. Mr. Sciortino is more than willing to work with the department of buildings on making necessary changed to the property, please help these families gain support and attention by signing this petition.
