Overturn the Wrongful Conviction of Antwon Dennis
Antwon Dennis was deprived of his Constitutional Rights to due process and the rights to a fair trial by jury by the Brooklyn Kings County District Attorney's Office. In 2014 Antwon Dennis obtained documented evidence from the Kings County District Attorney Office that detailed his then attorney Michael Vecchione in 1991, was in negotiation with the late Charles J. Haynes of the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office to obtain employment. This took place during the time Vecchione was representing Mr. Dennis on a murder case, but took employment within the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office as executive chief of homicide bureau in January 1992. Mr. Dennis case was tried in March of 1992 and he was convicted three months after Vecchione was gainfully employed by the District attorney office. Which is a clear conflict of interest because Vecchione was now the executive chief of the same homicide bureau where Assistant District Attorney Jeffrey Ginsberg was assigned to prosecute Mr. Antwon Dennis.
