All grades are important, but colleges look most closely at 11th grade for academic performance. This is also the year of taking ACT and SAT tests for college admissions. During the pandemic, these high school kids have not been in an environment to learn and to perform on tests. These 10th and 11th graders should have a “do-over” year because there is too much at stake to “play catch up”.
