The Wall: Is There Anybody Out There?

This position might have made sense in 2020 to adopt a “hold harmless period for kids” who missed 4 out of 10 months of school “with the understanding that…. next year will involve going back and shoring up past learning”. But these kids are now behind 1 academic year and 4 months from previous year. We need to reassess retention in 2021/22 for the good of our children.
