CitiBike, New York City’s bike-share program, was recently launched. Stations throughout Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan are up and running, offering New Yorkers a fun and healthy way to get around the city.

Unfortunately, Greenpoint and North Williamsburg - an area that is already underserved by other modes of transportation – has thus far been left out despite being included in the original plans.

There is great demand in these neighborhoods for CitiBike, but there is still no timeline for the installation of any stations. As a Greenpoint resident and CitiBike member myself, I believe strongly that we shouldn't have to wait any longer.

Please sign my petition to the Dept. of Transportation (DOT) demanding that bike-share be brought to Greenpoint and Williamsburg ASAP.
