New Yorkers were promised that the NY ACC would become a NO KILL shelter by the year 2015.  Yet in 2016 this Non Profit murdered over 11,000 lost, and homeless pets. These pets were healthy adoptable babies.  Last year at least 5 owners that we know of,  showed up to the ACC to pick up their lost dogs, only to be told that they had been euthanized.  They are a non profit with an $18 million contract with the DOH to CARE for our lost and homeless pets, yet dogs who have injuries are left in cages or pens with no real medical treatment. Why waste money on a dog or cat that they are going to kill anyway?   As the guardian of 6 beautiful dogs, 5 of them rescues, I cannot stand for the carnage at the NY ACC any more.  It needs to END. People have tried in the past to shut them down, but we NEED YOUR SUPPORT.  Please help us stop the slaughter of dogs like Cowboy who was dead within 12 hours of setting foot in NYC ACC. Or Thunder who was  so terrified when he was taken from his brother. Thunder wanted to live, but was murdered anyway because he was scared!  Or beautiful Stash pictured above. He was so terrified and somehow knew he wouldn’t make it.�.  Last year the ACC told you the public that they killed “only 3,800” lost and homeless pets, but the actual number was closer to 8,000.  They perform murders that they don’t tell you about. They’re called “silent kills” by people  who were volunteers.  Those Volunteers who speak out against the NY ACC are “fired”.  I’m pleading with every New Yorker who loves their pets to please stand with us and help us to stop the slaughter of these innocent animals that are brought to the NYC ACC for help.
