Dolly's Milk Bell Block are petitioning to have the speed limit on Manutahi Road reduced from 100km/hr to 80km/hr.

This would ensure that all customers have more time when exiting the premises to assess visibility and safely use the sole access of Dolly's Milk. 

The stretch of road is a bus route for nearby primary and secondary schools with the children walking home from the drop off points. It is also a popular National Cycleway route used by many. Residents of Manutahi Road have expressed their concern of the current high speed limit and fear this could result in accidents if something is not done in the near future (87% of all residents have already signed a seperate petition done earlier).

We have decided to open up this petition to give Dolly's Milk customers a chance to express their view. If the speed limit is not reduced we are unfortunately at the mercy of the New Plymouth District Council and may be forced to shut down the business.

Dolly's Milk has successfully been providing New Plymouth and the wider Taranaki region with high quality raw milk to many customers for almost 3 years and we hope to continue for many more! We really appreciate your support on this.
