We, residents of Horseheads, New York, and its surrounding communities, express concern over the safety and functionality of the outdated playground equipment at Thorne Street Park.

   The children of this community deserve a play area that ignites their imaginations, supports their physical development, and allows them to play and socialize in a safe space. We believe this playground no longer fills these needs.

    We are asking for the removal of the large old structure near the parking lot and the installation of updated equipment.

Collected signatures will be brought to a Village Board meeting to show the community’s interest in the cause.
