New Ownership for the New York Jets

New Ownership for the New York Jets
The Issue
Jets fans have suffered long enough under the ownership of Woody Johnson. Collectively as a fan base, we have not felt happiness in over a decade and we have not seen a championship since 1969, longer than most jets fans have been alive. We are done with the suffering and want change.
The Jets have gone all in this year, acquiring big names like Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. These acquisitions have led us to a 2-6 start to the season with playoff chances looking slim to none. If Woody Johnson does not sell this team, nothing will ever change. We have gone through numerous QBs, coaches, GMs and coordinators, yet the Jets continue to play well below average. What is the only constant in these losing seasons? Woody Johnson being the owner. That is the one and only constant in the darkest time of our franchise.
The longer we wait to make a change the longer we suffer as fans. Players will not want to sign with the Jets when they know the direction this franchise has been going. We need to let the ownership know how we feel and the only way to do that is to hurt their wallets. Stop buying jerseys. Stop going to games. Stop spending your hard earned money on a team that gives you nothing but pain and sadness. Nothing will change if we do not come together as a fan base. This cannot be a one person job. We need every fan to make this change.
