ATTENTION: WE HAVE LAUNCHED A SECOND PETITION AFTER OCDSB ATTEMPTS TO COVER UP AND BURY HARM 

We are concerned students of the who have witnessed and experienced harm and racism by the principal at , High School. This is our SECOND launched petition after the first one of over 200 signatures was reported by the and the superintendent TO ERASE THE HARMS THAT LINKS TO THE SCHOOL.

They also reported the comments where our parents and I shared our experiences of racism AND HARM. This is CENSORSHIP AND we received a message from change.org confirming that they had reported this as a violation of their privacy of information about those involved. 

THE TRUTH IS NOT A VIOLATION OF PRIVACY. We ask why are they trying to silence us? 

We ask students and parents to continue to sign this petition to DEMAND THE DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD to remove the from the High School and investigate the superintendent for covering up harm. 

Since the change in school leadership since jan 2022, we have observed the following: 

1/ RACIST AND ANTI-BLACK STATEMENTS MADE ABOUT STUDENTS 

2/ POLICING AND MONITORING STUDENTS IN THE HALLWAY AND WASHROOMS 

3/ ATTEMPTS TO PUSH STUDENTS TO ALTERNATIVE SCHOOLS 

4/ ENGAGING IN RACIST PRACTICES THAT PUSH THE SCHOOL TO PRISON PIPELINE 

5/ INVITING OUR OLD SROS IN THE SCHOOL DESPITE OCDSB TERMINATING THE PROGRAM 

6/ REMOVING RELIGIOUS QUOTES FROM THE YEARBOOK BY MUSLIM STUDENTS 

7/ INCREASE SUSPENSIONS AGAINST BLACK AND BROWN STUDENTS

8/ THREATS AGAINST BLACK AND BROWN STUDENTS ABOUT THEIR FUTURE

9/ ADVISING TEACHERS TO NOT BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH STUDENTS

10/ CITING FAKE POLICIES OCDSB TO WEAPONIZE AGAINST STUDENTS

11/ THREATENING TO CALL THE POLICE  

12/ MAKING SCHOOL FEEL LIKE A JAIL 

13/ UNLAWFUL SEARCHES ON STUDENTS THAT INCLUDE BODY AND PERSONAL PROPERTY SEARCHES

14/ HOLDING MINORS HOSTAGE AND CALLING BYLAWS TO SEARCH THEM WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT 

MUST INVESTIGATE HIGH SCHOOL FOR RACISM AND HARMS BY THE AND ALL THE ABOVE CLAIMS INCLUDING THE SUPERINTEDENT REG LAVERGNE WHO IS WORKING TO ERASE THE HARMS BY REPORTING OUR PETITION.
