SAVE HUNTING AND FISHING IN NEW MEXICO!

New Mexico SB312 is a poorly camouflaged attempt to eliminate hunting and fishing in New Mexico. The bill is sponsored by anti-hunting, environmental activist New Mexico Legislator Jeff Steinborn and is an attempt to trick New Mexico hunters into supporting legislation that will eventually eliminate hunting and fishing. Please sign this petition to preserve our hunting and fishing heritage! 

The real purpose of SB312 is to introduce a cultural shift to the game and fish department away from hunting to that of “conservation.” This is the first step in eliminating hunting in New Mexico. They understand they can’t achieve this objective if hunters know of their intentions, so they have used an incendiary issue – non-resident big game tags – as the way of getting hunters to support their anti-hunting agenda. Whether you agree or disagree with the current allocation of big game tags to non-residents, do not allow the anti-hunters to use this issue to begin their agenda of eliminating hunting in New Mexico. We must stand firm against the anti-hunting agenda and not allow our hunting and fishing rights to be stolen from us.
