On June 15th 2023, at 3:17 pm. I received a phone call from my mother while at work stating that the mayor of Blue Mountain shot 2 of my dogs, the first dog was my 3 year old husky named Harper and my 1 year old pit named Hazel. The mayor stated that the reason he shot my husky was the fact she was being "aggressive and charged" at him, but never stated where she was when he shot her not will he give me her body back. My pit was also shot but he will also not tell me who shot her nor will he tell me the TRUTH of what happened to either of my dogs. Meanwhile the neighborhood I live in has never had any problems with my husky nor my pit, never made any 911 calls to complain on my husky/pit nor have they had problems with them being aggressive towards them. My husky has been off the chain a few times and each time she got off she went to the neighbors house down the road who is a 80 year old 4'11 woman, she was able to get my husky by her collar and was able to call me and let me know that she had my husky and she would hold onto her until I came down to her and got her. Now if this woman was never scared of my dog and was able to grab my dog by her collar and send her home then so should the mayor since he is 6'3 350 pounds. The mayor DID NOT utilize all resources before shooting my dogs. I am looking into pressing charges against him for animal cruelty on both dogs. I have video evidence of my dog playing with the UPS men/women and even amazon and fedex because my dog was not aggressive she loved all people and would never harm a fly. The mayor shot my dog only because she was with my pit, and he does not like pits. 

The town of blue mountain is at stake, he has been mayor since 2009 and it is time for him to be removed. He does not deserve to be the mayor of a town that he does not treat the same way equally. If you love your pets and do not want them to be shot and killed for getting out of the fence/ being let out and being hunted like prey, please stand with me and sign this petition so we can get him OUT.  

The time is to act NOW not later, the longer we wait the more power he will have. He does not deserve this power, He does not deserve to serve the town of Blue Mountain if he is going to treat animals like they deserve to be shot over just walking down the road, I am not the first person to have a problem with him but I am the first person to stand up and use my voice to make a change.
