We, the undersigned, call on Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council to deliver a new, modern Lough Moss Leisure Centre.

The current facility is no longer fit for purpose. Demand has outgrown capacity, with residents unable to book classes due to oversubscription.

Crucially, this area has no local swimming pool. One pool serving the entire council area is not sufficient for a growing and active population.

Residents in Carryduff, the Four Winds and Newtownbreda contribute significantly in rates, yet investment in our area does not reflect this.

We are calling for proper investment in Castlereagh South, and for a new leisure centre that meets the needs of our community, including a dedicated swimming pool.
