Trying to make the most of the afternoon. Having established that the summons WAS laid in time, the defence applied for the case to be re-opened on the basis that the defendant had taken his paperwork - indicating that he wanted to plead not guilty - to Aldershot Magistrates' Court before the very first hearing and gave it to an usher.
