Tom Brady is a stellar QB, but he is approaching retirement age. The Patriots need a vision for a future without Tom Brady.

Enter Colin Kaepernick, a great player without a team, 29 years old- not necessarily as a Brady replacement, but as a great player, a tremendous asset to the team, and a solid member of the future Patriots' QB lineup.

NFL teams are loathe to step into politics, but unfortunately every team that continues to participate in Kaepernick's de facto blacklisting is actually actively participating in politics by doing so.

The way to exit politics is to ignore it when it comes to team management, and just take a good look at Kaepernick. He is a great player, a great QB in his prime.
