To the honourable Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick

We the undersigned, residents of New Brunswick, OPPOSE Bill 11- An Act Respecting Proof of Immunization, with or without the use of the “notwithstanding” clause.

We the undersigned, residents of New Brunswick, have not been shown ANY evidence to support a mandate (the KV measles outbreak infected vaccine status as it relates to measles and the tested/confirmed measles strain information was HIDDEN by NB Public Health due to “privacy”). This outbreak produced a mass vaccination campaign and is the platform on which Mr. Cardy legitimized his first bill. (Bill 39)

We the undersigned, residents of New Brunswick recognize, a mandate would effectively take away parents right to object to vaccines for their children based on religious or philosophical exemptions, thus compelling individuals to choose between vaccination and public education. We oppose our rights being infringed upon per the Canadian Charter of Rights, and per Canadian Medical law regarding informed consent, as well as any other law that has been adapted and enacted to protect bodily autonomy and informed consent of an individual.

We the undersigned, residents of New Brunswick, request that all members of the Legislative Assembly continue to respect the rights of every person of this great province (as they do when it comes to the Canadian Charter of Rights, section 2, 7 and 15) and understand it is not up to government to force medical interventions on their constituents in order to retain/obtain public services of any kind, paid for by our collective tax dollars, as this sets a dangerous precedent and we the undersigned, don’t want our province going in that direction, nor do we want to endure lengthy court battles identifying Bill 11 as a breech of said rights.

We the undersigned, residents of New Brunswick, wholeheartedly reject government interference in our medical decisions and any issue in which informed consent is ignored or when our bodily rights are being infringed upon.

WE THE UNDERSIGNED, RESIDENTS OF NEW BRUNSWICK, KINDLY BUT WITH RESOLUTE FORTITUDE, REJECT BILL 11 AND REQUEST BILL 11 BE WITHDRAWN, WITH OR WITHOUT THE USE OF THE “NOTWITHSTANDING” CLAUSE.
