Now more than ever, Nevada needs a state lottery. With an estimated revenue shortfall of between $741 million to $911 million as a result of the COVID-19 economic shutdown, the state of Nevada would benefit from lottery revenue.

• Nevadans - All residents financially benefit from having a lottery in their state. For every dollar spent on a lottery ticket, approximately 25 cents goes to the beneficiaries lotteries support.
• Players - Around  64 cents of every dollar spent on a lottery ticket goes back to players in the form of prizes. In FY19 U.S. Lottery players won $52.7 billion.
• Retailers - Small businesses also win with a state lottery. Lottery retailers receive ~6% commission for every ticket sold. In FY19 U.S. lottery retailers earned $5.1 billion.
