The carpool lanes were previously only restrictive for certain hours on weekdays. Now that millions of dollars have been used to fix our roads the Dept. of Transportation has made the carpool lanes 24 hours including weekends.  This is wrong. We should be like most other major cities and the carpool lanes should be open to everyone on the weekends and if you drive an electric/hybrid vehicle.
