Hello my name is Tiffany sellers my husband is dying in prison , I was able to see him to say goodbye only because I managed to get him moved to a prison w a regional medical center attached . I was not however allowed to stay with him til his passing . Most prisons won’t even do that in the state of Nevada they will just call you and say your loved one has died . This gives no closure to families and no sense of peace to the incarcerated . These people are just that people and should be treated at the time of death w empathy. If they cannot have a loved one present they should at least have a volunteer to sit with them as they cross over . I watched so many inmates in my husbands prisons hospice unit just alone and sad . This is in humane and it needs to change . I’m asking for your help in gaining signatures to change this . Thank you so much !! Love , hope , and light !!
