Neuter feral cats at Turtle Bay Resort!

Neuter feral cats at Turtle Bay Resort!

The Issue

TNR is a successful way of controlling a feral cat population. It's used by humane societies all over the U.S. and is the most humane way to deal with feral cats. Right now Turtle Bay allows the cats to live on the property and be fed by visitors-which is great-but the cats are in-tact and will continue to reproduce. This will lead to a much bigger community, which means the cats will be fighting over the same amount of food.
To see the resort commit to neutering the cats would be a huge step toward controlling this feral cat community. Moreover, many of the visitors were leaving out food for the cats, which created extra trash. The only food available to give the cats was salmon, eggs, and cream cheese from the restaurants at the resort. If the resort can commit to keeping proper cat food for sale at a low price, the visitors will likely purchase it and leave it out for the cats!
