Ensuring that vegetation surrounding railways is properly surveyed is SO important for the wildlife that inhabits there.

Just recently, I had to take a buzzard to an animal rescue centre due to injuries sustained from its nesting tree being cut down. This buzzard family has now lost the nest that they have used for decades. Buzzards also mate for life meaning the partner has been left to raise their young alone.

Although it is important to maintain the vegetation along the railways for the majority of over population that use them, it is also just as important to maintain all the homes nested within.

From ponds to trees, there are different ways they can be maintained then simply cutting it down and removing it and these are the areas that need to be researched and negotiated.
