Refund and or reimburse people affected by the patch
The Issue
Last month, Netherrealm Studios released the latest entry in the Mortal Kombat franchise to great acclaim. It marked one of the first times a pc fighting game was simultaneously released along with its console counterparts. However, the game was not stable, plagued with bugs and troubled start up issues.
A promise of patches to fix these and other issues was made. However, the patch which was offered today actually broke the game, made it unplayable for several hours and erased hours of work on the game by mistake. Also players were told that those who purchased the Kombat pack would be able to play as the newly released DLC character, which as of this writing, they are still not able to do.
The goal of this petition is simple. We, the steam PC audience of this game have spent good money for a faulty product. We deserve the right to refund or be reimbursed for a product that was not stable and has caused many of us emotional grief and robbed us of hours of work we put in to a game we care for. This petition aims to focus our attention on reminding software designers that creating a piece of software and selling it when it is not ready is a violation of contract between us and them
