There has been and explosion of support for the addition of Shaggy from Scooby Doo to the roster of Mortal Kombat 11. Speaking from a logical stand point, this is simply not going to happen. The character does not fit the tone of the universe and the owners of the character are not likely going to allow a children's cartoon character to rip people's spines out.

I would much rather see a character from DC make an appearance and the choice for such a guest character is obvious. Lobo, The Main Man, has a history of gratuitous hyperviolence and has himself been shown being eviscerated, decapitated, blown up and flensed down to the bone. He can preform all the macabre moves that Mortal Kombat is known for as well as receive the all the punishment without it seeming out of character.

Beyond that NetherRealm studios has introduced the character in the first Injustice game. The studio should already have all the rights to use the character. DC comics does not want Superman or Batman appearing in Mortal Kombat because their characters simply do not fit the tone, there is no such issue with Lobo.
