Havik made his debut in Mortal Kombat Deception (2004) as an unlockable character. He would make a comeback in the following chapter, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, but after that he would never make a return in the following games other than a few cameos.

He also appeared in Noob Saibot's ending in MK9, as well as being the main villain of MKX's comic book series (he can also be used as a Kombat Kard in said game) and as a consumable in the last entry of the saga.

Havik hails from Chaosrealm, a world where Chaos and Freedom are the only religion, and Havik himself serves as the Cleric of this strange realm.

The Cleric of Chaos would do anything in order to achieve pure Chaos: be it stealing powerful artifacts like the Amulet of Shinnok as shown in the MKX Comic Books, deceiving other Kombatants to do his bidding, or just cause death and destruction on Seido, the Realm of Order, sworn enemies of the Chaosrealmers.

Why make a petition to bring back this particular character?

Well, Havik is the most popular character from the 3D era that a lot of Mk Fans have been requesting to see since MK9, but has never returned along with his rival Hotaru and the demon huntress Ashrah.

NetherRealm Studios, the team behind the Mortal Kombat series, brought back many characters from the 3D era in their most recent games, from Quan Chi, Shinnok and Tanya from MK4, to Kenshi, Frost and Bo' Rai Cho from MK Deadly Alliance, but we have never saw a character from MK Deception since 2004, not counting MK Armaggeddon, which brought back every character from all the past episodes.

With Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack and its DLCs already revealed, we can only hope we will be able to see Havik again in a future pack if the team is planning on releasing a second pack in the future, or if not on this game, at least on a possible MK12.

Havik is a character with a lot of potential, both in terms of gears, backstory, design, but also the abilities which are very original and something that has never been explored before. Havik is the only character able to heal himself by breaking his neck, or using his entire body as a weapon, making him the definition of "chaotic".

We hope you will take this petition in consideration, as many MK Fans would love to see this character making a comeback, after so many years of waiting, a lot of people would be hyped if he ever gets revealed as a playable character in the future entries of the series.
