The Issue

Unfortunately for the animals of the beloved docuseries ‘Tiger King’, Netflix focused more on the eccentric, seemingly fictional but VERY entertaining lives of the people of the big cat trade rather than the dangers of the trade itself.

The tigers and bears of the GW Zoo suffered for many years in small spaces with little exercise and poor diets resulting in malnutrition that, according to some sources, led to other lifelong medical conditions. Now these animals live free at the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado, a refuge of almost 800 acres and no cages or handsy people.

It would be great if we could work together to encourage Netflix to make a one-time, large sum donation to the Wild Animal Sanctuary that now houses the true victims of Joe Maldonado-Passage and his cohorts.
