Katy Keene after only 1 season (13 episodes) is being dropped. We need network or another platform to pick the show back up. Sign this petition to have Katy Kenne picked up by hopefully Netflix. Katy Keene is an lgbtq+ friendly show which touches on topics that some are uncomfortable talking about. They touched lightly on substance abuse and the dangers of it and the concern of loved ones. Its taught us to follow our dreams and even when we are told no or told we aren't good enough, to keep on trying. Katy is a young woman in NYC trying to get the job of her dreams.. becoming a designer, but of course just as any other dream.. it takes time and you have to work your way to the top and stay devoted to it. Jorge is a male who struggled telling his parents about his sexuality as a child and now that they have come to terms with that, it was hard for him to also tell them that he is a drag queen. Jorge's character can help many confused younger audiences come to terms with opening up to their parents. Josie is a singer. She moved to New York to make her dream of getting signed to a label. While it didn't take long for someone to notice her, Josie has many many road-bumps along the way. Josie is independent and does not like being controlled. Josie is an amazing role model to little girls to show them that not even a boy can stand in their ways. Pepper is a loyal friend with a few skeletons in the closest. Her friends are always her number one priority however and her loyalty is key. There are so many other characters on this amazing, life changing show that make the show complete. There are many more lessons to learn and more people to be taught. Please. For the sake of the generations growing up now and the ones that are soon going to be in control of voting and speaking up and doing right by our country, keep this show going to teach them the right way of speaking up, being confident, being proud of who thy are and for all the other lessons that are taught in this show. I feel like Katy Kenne didn't have much of a chance with HBO Max due to it being very new and not everyone paying for a new subscription to another streaming network. Netflix is very popular and almost everyone has it. Please let it have a season 2 with a chance on Netflix before calling the show off completely. Netlfix.. please. Please bring our Katy back along with the rest of her group. Riverdale already is getting to a point where you're asking yourself what's next and in Katy Kenne you can see a more realistic world with Josie in it pursuing her dreams after high school.
