Aj and the Queen is a Netflix show starring RuPaul as Ruby Red, a down-on-her-luck drag queen who travels across America from club to club in a rundown RV with her sidekick AJ (Izzy G.), a recently orphaned, tough-talking, scrappy 11-year-old stowaway. As the two misfits traveled from city to city, Ruby spread a message of love and acceptance which touched people and changed their lives for the better. Plus RuPaul performed a killer musical number in every drag club! 

Variety critic Daniel D'Addario said,  “Unfortunately, Netflix’s ‘AJ and the Queen’ has little to recommend it other than Ru himself, bringing to bear the star’s charisma on a tonally uneven, shaky story and trusting that glamour will carry the day." This is not true. The show showed a story of a mother who loses her daughter while struggling with addiction. Ruby subsequently takes the child under her wing, and help her to understand many important life lessons.
