JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stone Ocean is an anime set to air on the 21st of December 2021. It will air on Netflix worldwide and has been created by David Productions in association with Warner Bros. Japan and Shueisha. The original story was created by esteemed artist and mangaka Hirohiko Araki.

While JoJo fans are grateful for this new anime, many fans are worried. For the longest time, JoJo's has aired on a Friday in a weekly format. Therefore, Fridays became "JoJo's Friday". However, this year Netflix intends to release the full season (likely 39 or more episodes) on to the service at once. There are many disadvantages of this:

1. JoJo's Fridays will no longer exist. This is a major meme amongst the fanbase.

2. This will lead to binge watching which will cause the hype to dissipate very fast. Meanwhile in a weekly format, fans have something to look forward to every week for 39 weeks.

3. The binge watching will reduce the enjoyment of the show.

4. People will be forced to binge watch to avoid spoilers. 

TLDR; releasing the full season reduces the enjoyment and hype that Stone Ocean deserves.
