90's reboots are all the rage at the moment, and with Ellen Degeneres' upcoming Netflix special on the 18th of December, it seems only fitting that a reboot of her 90's sitcom could follow this.

Solution
'Ellen' was originally aired by ABC, and given the many joint ABC/Netflix productions, it would be a perfect opportunity to reboot the series. As well as signing this petition, fans of the show should also contact key stakeholders via social media to help this message to reach them.

Personal story
As a fan of 90's sitcoms, 'Ellen' in particular, I would love nothing more than to see this series rebooted. The original series was cancelled shortly after Ellen came out as a lesbian, and it only seems fair that she is given another opportunity to showcase her hilarious comedic skills. I am eagerly awaiting her upcoming Netflix special, as are many other fans, and I know they would also love for her sitcom to be brought back to television.
